Week’s events: Robert Hannon, sleep, Alaska Native language archive, string band

University of Alaska Fairbanks Summer Sessions and Lifelong Learning is hosting more than 40 free lectures, concerts and events this summer. Here’s what’s happening during the final week, Aug. 10-16:

• On Monday, Aug. 10, the Fairbanks Tall Timbers interview series will honor Robert Hannon, public radio journalist. The interview is at 7 p.m. in the BP Design Theater.
• On Tuesday, Aug. 11, the Healthy Living lecture series will host Clay Triplehorn, osteopath, discussing “When Sleep Won’t Come: Old Problem. New Solutions.” The lecture is at 7 p.m. in the BP Design Theater.
• On Wednesday, Aug. 12, the Discover Alaska lecture series will feature John DiCandeloro, Alaska Native Language Archive collections manager, presenting “Using the Alaska Native Language Archive.” The lecture is at 7 p.m. in the BP Design Theater.
• On Thursday, Aug. 13, the Music in the Garden concert series will present Susan Grace at 6 p.m. and the ET Barnette String Band at 7:30 p.m. at ������Ƶ’s Georgeson Botanical Garden.

All events are free and open to the public. Parking on the ������Ƶ Troth Yeddha’ Campus is free after 5 p.m.
