We value integrity, collaboration, passion, innovation, and accountability, and we are committed to making a difference in the moments that matter for our colleagues, clients, and communities. BRIEF DESCRIPTIONThe primary role of the RFP Analyst is to work with the account teams to market lines of coverage for consulting clients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited, to the following:Perform underwriting and financial analysis support for internal account teams and their respective consulting clients;Responsible for clients’ benefits marketing process, including: data acquisition, request for proposal (RFP) preparation, vendor question resolution, proposal review and analysis, negotiation with carriers, and client exhibit and presentation preparation;Tracking and documentation of RFP process from drafting RFP to final decision confirmation;Validate renewals and proposals for accuracy;Use specified technology platform to release RFPs and receive/analyze proposals;Maintain quality service standards and organization to assure timely service to MMA team;Research and remain abreast of the dynamic, competitive insurance environment, new and complex insurance projects, appropriate underwriting techniques and constantly changing legislation that governs business;Contribute to defining and implementing systems, workflows, standards and best practices that support the establishment and growth of the centralized marketing team;As part of the centralized marketing team, help plan and implement a mid-to-long term strategy to improve the utilization of the unit across all business practices and lines of coverage;Participate in special underwriting and operations projects as needed. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Actuary, Mathematics and/or other related field is required;Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Benefits Brokerage, Consulting, or Insurance industry is preferred with an emphasis on Life & Disability;Intermediate working knowledge of MS Excel is required (i.e. ability to perform pivot tables, macros, and intermediate formulas);Effective analytical, math and problem solving skills, sound judgment, strong decision making ability, confidence to make difficult decisions and excellent communication skills;Must be organized, detail oriented and able to translate big picture ideas into client objectives. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESStrong organizational, analytical skills and strong attention to detail;Excellent troubleshooting, decision making and problem solving skills;Must have strong negotiation and persuasion skills.Must be a goal oriented self-starterSolid interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;Ability to work well independently and as a team member;Ability to multitask and successfully operate in a fast-paced work environment;Ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines;Ability to follow through on and successfully execute tasks while adhering to specified quality standards;Demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service and maintain positive relationships with client contacts;Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Word (intermediate), Excel (advanced) and Access (intermediate).Proficiency in use of PC such as keyboard skills and electronic folder/file organization and management;Aptitude for learning internal systems, applications and internal work flow of the department;Must be able to effectively interact and deal with people at all levels inside and outside of the company. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. The Clinician will provide therapeutic services to our youth clientele in our Residential Treatment Center, Outpatient programs, or school programs.Responsibilities:1. With the Clinical Director, responsible for creating and maintaining milieu treatment activities.2. Provide individual and group counseling to clients.3. Provide family counseling and/or training.4. Provide expert witness regarding clients in court.5. Provide crisis intervention as needed.6. Participate in special activities for client outings.7. On-call, on-rotation status.8. Coordinate with local and state agencies relative to the clients’ milieu program.9. Coordinate with the staff relative to the clients’ individual service plans.10. Provide consultation and coordination with personnel from State and Local agencies and other community professionals.11. Attend child study team meetings, placement meetings, and administrative meetings.12. Responsible for Individual Treatment Plans; including development, implementation, evaluation, and quarterly review.13. Complete state admission and discharge forms.14. Keep current counseling notes.15. Write treatment plans and discharge summaries.16. Attend management, administrative and preadmission assessment meetings.17. Provides a minimum 23 hours of documented rehabilitation services for FCSA children and families.Qualifications:1. Master’s degree, from an accredited university, in social work, psychology, or counseling, or a closely related field.2. Clinician II must hold active LMSW licensure in the state of Alaska, or be able to become licensed within 90 days of employment.3. Clinician III candidates must hold active LPC or LCSW licensure in the state of Alaska, or be able to become licensed within 90 days of employment.4. Prefer two years’ experience in providing direct services to adolescents, program development, ISP development and implementation, and programmatic staff supervision.5. Able to work as a part of a treatment team.6. Physical ability to employ verbal and physical aggression control techniques after being certified.7. Knowledge of Alaskan childcare laws and juvenile justice laws.8. Current Alaska driver’s license, driving record and vehicle insurance.9. Potential employees must undergo a fingerprint check which shows that their record is free from criminal convictions which, in the judgment of FCSA, would adversely affect their ability to work safely with children.10.
